The Hotel Malmaison Dundee is a historic hotel a few doors down from Scriptoria host Gilfillan Memorial Church. To attend Scriptoria, you will simply exit the hotel, follow the sidewalk right, pass a few White Crescent businesses, and arrive at the grand doors of GMC.
This hotel was built in 1899 as Mather’s Temperance Hotel. In the 1960s, it became the Tay Hotel, named for the nearby River Tay. In 2014, the Malmaison chain purchased the building.
You may choose from various types of rooms: rooms with two single beds, with one double bed, or with one king-sized bed. Rooms with single and double beds cost 118 pounds (approximately $156 US dollars, not including tax). Rooms with king-sized beds cost 138 pounds (approximately $182 US dollars, not including tax).
