Overnight Accommodations for 2024 Scriptoria (June 10-14)
Updated January 25, 2024
The closest hotel is the Hilton Garden Inn and Suites, a short walk from Calvin. The hotel does have breakfast options for an extra charge.
If you have a car, you might also consider the Drury Hotel, as they include free hot breakfast and a casual, 5:30 PM buffet.
Some rooms may be available at the Prince Conference Center, right on Calvin's campus.
Calvin Dorm Rooms: Dorm rooms will be available for Scriptoria 2024. Sunday check-in; air-conditioned dorm with linens provided; NO room refrigerator; elevator if needed for higher floors. Floor kitchen with frig, cooking options. On-campus cafeteria may be open for lunches during the week. Breakfast option on campus is limited to micro-markets. Free WiFi and access to Calvin's exercise facility (pool, exercise equipment).
Dorm room options for participants will require sharing a suite: Either 2 persons sharing a room on one side (for lower cost), or 1 person on a side (with higher cost). The other half of the suite will similarly have 1 or 2 persons. Let us know if you would need a handicap-accessible room.
Double Occupancy, 2 twin beds, shared bathroom with suite mates = $30 per person all fees included, per night (a suite with shared bathroom in between two rooms.) This totals $150 for the 5 nights. Click here for double occupancy registration.
Single Occupancy, 1 person in room, shared bathroom with suite mates = $38 per night, all fees included (a suite with shared bathroom in between two rooms.) This totals $190 for the 5 nights. Click here for SINGLE occupancy registration.
Reserve your dorm room soon, as we have limited rooms available. When making reservations, you will be able to indicate your roommate and/or suitemates, if you plan to coordinate with others.
Room key distribution TBD. Room keys must be returned to the Scriptoria welcome desk the morning of your departure.
Contact ScriptoriaWorkshop@gmail.com if you have any questions about the dorm reservation process.
